With Paul Rosenberg stepping down as CEO of Def Jam last week, there's an opening at the top of what might be Hip Hop's most hallowed label.
It looks like 50 Cent has nominated himself for the job.
I have decided to take the Job at Def Jam. somebody gotta do it, who better then me. 🤷🏽♂️

"I have decided to take the Job at Def Jam. somebody gotta do it, who better then me," Fif quipped on Twitter.
Sure, Fif is joking: He hasn't been offered the job so he can't accept it.
But ...
It might not be such a bad idea. 50's days as a rapper are probably over, and he's shown some real acumen as an entertainment executive.
If nothing else, CEO Fif would use hashtags to pomo the hell out of Def Jam's roster on his popular Instagram page.
