50 Cent's crime drama Power is wrapping things up after its sixth season, which begins on August 25.
The final season will consist of 15 episodes, rather than the typical eight or 10.
Starz also announced that there will be Power spinoffs in the future.
“Season 6 brings us to the end of what we know is just the first chapter of the ’Power’ story,” said Carmi Zlotnik, president of programming for Starz. “However, as one chapter comes to an end, another will begin. Courtney Kemp and 50 Cent have created a world rich with complex and dynamic characters and there are a number of stories we plan to tell as we continue to explore and expand the ‘Power’ universe.”
For his part, 50 Cent is concentrating on Season 6, claiming it will blow away that show that everyone can't stop talking about.
"Power Season 6 is gonna blow you away, GAME OF THRONES ain’t got SHIT ON ME.😆shoe program nigga," he typed.
