Someone stole Akon's Range Rover on Tuesday, May 25, while he was pumping gas at a QuickTrip in Atlanta. Akon had left the vehicle running and someone jumped in and took off.
"Any time you stop your vehicle and you leave your vehicle for just a split second, please turn your vehicle off and take your keys with you and secure your vehicle," said Lt. Dorian Graham. "We're having far too many vehicles stolen because we are leaving our vehicles running."
The same thing happened to Ludacris earlier this year when he left his Mercedes running while using an ATM.
They're pretty quick in Atlanta. So watch out.
