Andre 3000 Has a Theory To Why So Many Young Rappers Sound Similar

Andre 3000 has made it clear the only music he'll be making any time soon is flute music.

But even though he's mostly retired from rapping, he's still listening to Hip Hop.

During a stop on LeBron James's The Shop, the Outkast legend explained why he thinks why the new wave of rappers sounds so similar.

“Now, I don’t think artists have time to cultivate themselves so a lot of artists sound the same. You can quickly jump on a microphone — it’s awesome because you’re getting an immediacy, but you don’t get time to hone who you are," Three Stacks said, contrasting it from when he came up.
