Ashanti Says A Producer Asked Her For Shower Sex In Exchange For Track

Back in 2017, while on The Breakfast Club, Ashanti talked about a famous producer offering her free tracks if she went out with him.

But in her latest sit down with Charlamagne tha God and company, the R&B singer gave more specifics about the offer. [Head to the 15:22 mark]

“We did two records together. He was like, ‘OK, I’m not gonna charge you, you my homie.’ And then when it came time to put it on the album, he was like, ‘Well, let’s take a shower together,'"Ashanti recalled. “And I thought he was joking and then he was like, ‘Nah, I’m dead serious. Let’s take a shower together and I’ll give you the records. If not, I need 40 racks per record.’ And again, I thought he was joking because we had been working with each other for like, I don’t know, a couple of weeks.”

But just as Ashanti said in both times telling that story, she called her male homies, who seemingly paid the producer a visit.
