Former Atlanta cop  Justin Mikale Thorne was sentenced to ten years in prison for robbing Bankroll Freedie in October of 2019.

Thorne, who had recently been suspended from the force but was wearing his uniform, served as a lookout when two other men held up Freddie and his cousin in a Cobb County Comfort Inn and Suites.

Thorne's lawyer had tried to argue his client only got involved in the robbery because his family had been threatened.

Freddie has his own legal issues.  In November, the Quality Control rapper was among 80 gang members arrested by the feds on drug and weapons charges, including distribution of cocaine and crack cocaine.
