Big Wan, who was one the brightest young rappers on the Milwaukee scene, was shot dead over the Thanksgiving holiday
The 19-year-old was staying with his mother and grandmother in North Milwaukee when shots were fired into the home striking Wan, who was in an upstairs bedroom.
Police have ruled his death a homicide and asking for any information pertaining to the shooting.
Wan scored a fairly big regional hit with his 2019 track 'Fast Lane Lifestyle'.
The year before, he was among 24 people who caught federal charges for drug trafficking as part of the Buffum Meinecke Boy gang. He plead guilty to selling/distributing/dispensing a controlled substance and got time served and three years supervised probation.
RIP.
