TMZ caught up with Biz at the airport asked him what was going on there.

"I know 50 from the early 90s and we went to the Chinese restaurant one time. And he bought the food and I owed him.  And since its interest, he got mad at me. I didn't really want to go court, so I had to pay him back ... So I had to pay him back in food stamps."

These days, food stamps are doled out through a plastic card, not the paper notes Biz gave Fif. But Biz explains he still carries old ones around for good luck.

Biz then gave support to all of Fofty's money collecting ways.

"If he was nice enough to lend the money, you should be nice enough to give it back," Biz declared.
