After scoring an all-time mega-hit in 2019 with Old Town Road, Lil Nas X rolled a long series of antics that kept him the media's heart and Boosie Badazz's head.

Yesterday, his debut album Montero dropped and the early numbers suggest his trolling has helped him to a moderate but not overwhelming hit.

Hits Daily Double is projecting Montero  for a solid 130K -140K first week with 17-20K in pure sales

While those are nice numbers for a debut, they are nothing compared to 300K plus Kanye and 600K plus Drake recently put up first week.

In fact, Certified Lover Boy's third week has a good chance of denying Montero the top spot.
