Boosie Badazz Explains Why The South Doesn't Listen To JAY-Z

Do you remember when Boosie Badazz seemed to have a problem with JAY Z's line about people putting money to their ear? It's a line in Jay's song "The Story of O.J." off his acclaimed 4:44 album.

"Ya'll on the 'Gram holding money to your ear, there's a disconnect, we don't call that money over here," Hov spit in the song.

After it dropped, Boosie said that he wouldn't listen to the Brooklyn rapper, nor would the people in the South, and they'll all just keep putting stacks of dough to their ear.

"In Louisiana, his words don't fly," said the Baton Rouge rapper. "I don't know about New York, New Jersey and all these other places but Louisiana and Jackson, Mississippi, that shit don't fly like that, bro. And I'll say that to JAY Z. I'll say that to anybody."

Boosie recently sat down with VLADTV and pretty much said the same thing when he was asked about those comments.

"No way do I hate on JAY Z," he said. "I'm a fan of JAY Z's work and his hustle. But I was just saying where I'm from, down South, JAY Z can go down there and say 'Put your money phones down' and they're going to stay up ... Down South got big, hot-shots too. Real big dogs too. Not comparing us to Jigga Man ... I was just saying, down there, his shots, what he says, doesn't have an impact on those youngsters down there, 'cause that's who he's talking to the younger generation."

What do you think about what Boosie said? Agree or disagree?
