Bruno Mars & Mark Ronson Accused Of Swiping Uptown Funk From Rap Group

Are Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson the next Robin Thicke and Pharrell?

The female rap group Sequence are claiming Mars and Ronson stole elements of their Grammy winning smash 'Uptown Funk' from their 1979 song 'Funk You Up.'

The group, which consisted of Angie Stone (yes, that one) Cheryl the Pearl and Blondie (no, not that one) have warned Mars and Ronson about similarities in the two songs' hooks, but haven't filed a lawsuit yet.

The ladies may be pursuing a similar strategy to the five writers of the Gap Bands 1979 hit 'Oops Upside Your Head', who were all given lucrative credits on 'Uptown Funk' after complaining about similarities between the songs.
