Gang Banger turned anti-gang advocate Charleston White has an interesting theory on who killed Nipsey Hussle.

He believes Rollin' 60 Crips boss Big U and the set's other big homie snuffed Nipsey Hussle out,

"Everybody knew that Big U called a hit ... You all want to know why the Rollin 60's killed Nipsey Hussle man?  This is what happened with the Rollin' 60s.  And I was with those n*ggas," White claimed.  "Them n*ggas told me Nip ain't bigger than the set ... all the big homies in the set were jealous of Nip cause all the young n*ggas loved Nip.  Nip had got bigger than the set and ain't nobody bigger than the set.  Nip got bigger than the program so Nip got clipped ... them n*ggas didn't like Nip."

He goes on to say that Big U and the other Rollin 60 elders didn't like that Nipsey and his brother Blacc Sam were doing business with white people and had stopped paying the set their 20K protection fee.  The big homies were also worried about Nip's ties to the police

"Prior to Ermias [Nipsey]'s death  he had a meeting with the LAPD for gang intervention and gang prevention.  The set didn't want that to happen.  Nip was getting bigger than the set.  The set couldn't control Nip no more," White reported.

Eric Holder, ar Rollin' 60 Crip, was convicted of killing Nipsey.

During the trial, prosecutors argued that Holder was mad at Nip because he had called him a snitch and was, additionally, jealous of Nip's success.  If the state found any evidence of a broader conspiracy to kill Nipsey they didn't present it.
