Is Chief Keef Being Exploited Because He's Autistic?

Rhymefest is a veteran on the Chicago scene. He came up with Kanye, and has done his share of writing for 'Ye, both credited and uncredited. He also co-wrote Common and John Legend's Academy Award winning ballad 'Glory.'

Along the way he's always tried to promote positivity in his lyrics, and has been weary of rap's violent content.

In an interview with the Daily Beast, Rhymefest touched on the ultra-violent Drill scene in his city, in particular Chief Keef.

"He’s exploited," Rhymefest says of Keef. "I think many rappers these days have afflictions, such as Asperger’s, bipolar disorder, or autism. They need advocates, but we turn it into entertainment. The media is turning autism into entertainment. When I look at Chief Keef, I clearly see someone who has autism. Look at the way his face is structured, or his insensitivity to violence. He needs an advocate. But someone put him out there and exploited that child."
There are some facial features linked to autism, making this an interesting theory. Do you think there is any merit to it?
