China Mac is demanding his respect...

The New York rapper and food show host recently fought AD from the No Jumper podcast for allegedly stealing his ideas, but their beef is squashed now.

Mac recently spoke with DJ Vlad about the beef and why he called AD out for a fistfight.

He says he travels a lot, and lately, feels most people think New York is soft in part because they've let Tekashi 6ix9ine run wild.

Based on that, he couldn't stand for it, so he asked for the fade. 

"I could have reached out to other people, but I decided not to do that.  Because I feel like since the whole 6ix9ine thing people outside of New York City don't have respect for New York people.  I feel like we been losing that respect," Mac said.  "I feel like people look at us like damn, you're letting anything happen over there.  I felt like it was imporant for me to stand up and represent myself and represent the city I'm from."
