China Mac Tells Ebro That It's Not Up To Him Who Uses The N-Word

China Mac seems bothered because he can't freely say the N-word.

He expressed that frustration after Ebro Darden talked about non-black people using the word while speaking to Viceland.

“Black music has always welcomed everyone, but if you don’t respect and understand what is off limits, you are not welcome," Ebro said.

Mac found that perplexing.

"I'm confused," said Mac, who recently got at Lil Pump for mocking Asians in his song "Butterfly," in response. "If the N-word is so culturally sensitive as I know it can be, why is it so accepted by mainstream popular culture? You know why? Because of people like you. People that have these platforms, that are gatekeepers."

"So if you're against that word, you should have been on it since day one," he added. "No one should be using that word on your watch. It seems like your singling out an entire minority group, which makes me think that you're stereotyping. The assumption is that all Asians are affluent."

Other rappers who've weighed in on the N-word controversy in the past include Ice Cube and Vince Staples

What do you think about what China Mac said?
