When Kanye West's sophomore album Late Registration came out in 2005, most of today's college freshmen were toddlers.

Somehow a group of them never heard the classic LP until recently and XXL shared their thoughts on it. The students attend the University of Missouri-Columbia, Howard University, University of Albany, Syracuse University and Lehigh University.

They listened to the LP to celebrate it turning 15 years old on Sunday, August 30.

“This is the old Kanye I have heard so much about. I always knew Kanye as the superstar with hit sneakers, but it was a large change to hear this album," said Destin Diroché of the University of Albany.

“The first song that I listened to on Late Registration was 'Touch the Sky,'" Howard University's Tony Wright explained. "Based on the way that song set the tone for my first listening experience, my initial impression was that the album was just going to be him rapping about how successful he is and boast about all his money, fame and women.  But as I continued to listen to songs such as ‘Crack Music,’ I was proven wrong."

"The first impressions of Late Registration reminded me of a hopeful and more youthful Kanye," wrote Destinie Farwell of the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Don't you feel old now?
