Dak Prescott Responds after Skip Bayless Criticizes Him Over Depression

Earlier this week, Dak Prescott revealed he had struggled with anxiety and depression, and that his mental health became worse when he learned earlier this year that his brother Jace had committed suicide.

Skip Bayless took him to task for the disclosure, saying a leader of a football team shouldn't show such vulnerability.

'I got depressed,' 'I suffered depression early in COVID to the point that I couldn’t even go work out," Skip said, adding he has sympathy for most who have poor mental health.  "Look, he’s the quarterback of America’s team. The sport that you play, it is dog eat dog. It is no compassion, no quarter given on the football field. If you reveal publicly any little weakness, it can affect your team’s ability to believe in you in the toughest spots and it can definitely encourage others on the other side to come after you."

While Dak didn't mention Skip's name, he responded to that on a new statement:
