Last time we reported on basketball star Kristaps Porzingis, he was being traded by the New York Knicks to the Dallas Mavericks.
Now he's back in the news, and not for anything he did on the basketball court.
TMZ is reporting that Porzingis was involved in a bar brawl in his home country of Latvia, and his home city, Liepaja.
Via reports and witnesses, a handful of Russians approached Porzingis and were mad about the recent trade. This led to an altercation, and eventually an all-out brawl, resulting in Porzingis bleeding from his head.
The fight is being investigated by the Mavericks and the general consensus is that Porzingis was jumped at the club and hit with several objects.
