Dame Dash Says Kanye West, Not Jay-Z, Is Roc-A-Fella's Greatest Artist

Jay-Z is obviously doing incredibly well these days, while Damon Dash hasn't matched the success he had when their label Roc-A-Fella Records was in its heyday. 

So that seems to be the reason why Dame throws a shot at Jay any chance he gets. For example, he accused Jay of screwing him out of money recently.

Dame spoke on Jay again in a separate interview, this time with podcast host MacG after being asked to name Roc-A-Fella's greatest artist.

"If it's a choice between Jay and Kanye, I'm going with Kanye," said Dame. "He's more creative ... If it's about now, I can speak on that because, you know, I worked with both of them, right?  You know, Kanye is a true artist and he does it for the art and Jay-Z does it for the money. It's two different things."
