Damian Lillard is known to be one of the few professional basketball players who's respected for his rap skills. In fact, one could argue that he's the best NBA player to ever pic up a microphone.

That's why it made total sense for a reporter to ask him who his favorite current rappers are during this year's All-Star Weekend. His answer?  Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole, Drake, Future and Young Thug, who he said is better than most people give him credit for.

"I think somebody that people sleep on is Young Thug," said Lillard. "They think he's just saying a whole bunch of nothing, but Young Thug is talented"
