That combination blew away NFL Network commentator Deion Sanders, who couldn't contain his shock when Apke ran a 4.35 in the 40 at the NFL Combine, among the best times among safeties.

"Oh man, he can run," Deion said as the prospect dashed through along the screen.

“Why are you surprised, Deion?” Mike Mayock asked, to which Sanders replied, “You know why I’m surprised. I can’t say it on TV, but he can run ... Let's call it what it is."
