With Drake suing UMG, Tekashi 6ix9ine suing LA Fitness, and Chris Brown suing Warner Bros., we're now in the season of high-profile lawsuits.
The latest celebrity to take legal action is Diddy, who filed a $50 million defamation suit against Courtney Burgess, a guy who told NewsNation that he has footage of Diddy assaulting celebs and minors.
Burgess was also a grand jury witness.
On top of that, Diddy — who's in jail on a sex trafficking charge — is suing Burgess' lawyer, Ariel Mitchell, and the owner of NewsNation.
50 reacted to the lawsuit by posting a 2018 interview of Diddy saying he wants to be 50's friend.
"Me and him could be friends, but he doesn’t want to be my friend," says Diddy in the clip. "I wanna be his friend so I could teach him everything I know, so he could become a better money-getter since I’m the number one money-getter in the world ... 50, please be my friend. Yo, 50 you’re breaking my heart. Curtis, please be my friend."
"Nah something ain’t right, stay over there play boy. LOL" wrote 50 in the caption.
