Diddy sparked a lot of debate after he spoke about the current state of Hip Hop in a recent social media post.

In short, he said there were too many rappers today, and the game is being watered down. The Bad Boy founder also told younger artists to seek greatness or else they'll be "part of the noise."

In a new post, Diddy pretty much doubled down on those words and said he wanted to keep the dialogue positive.

"I wanted to re-address what I was talking about yesterday," he said. "Everything I said yesterday is with positive intentions, and I want it to remain that way. My thing is to push people to be great. I'm on no moral compass on who's wack and who's hot. You can like whoever you want. I was just sharing some tips on how to get to the bag and originality and [bringing] something special is key."

"And then I was just giving my views on the state of just being overwhelmed," added Diddy. "As a fan, I want to find things that I love and it's not a whole 'lot of body of work that I listen to besides maybe the Black Panther [soundtrack] right now ... I just want to push artists in anyway I can as a fan and also as Diddy, to be the greatest that they can be.

Do you think Diddy's words will have any impact on the younger artists?
