On May 24, 2000, 50 Cent was shot nine times at close proximity in Queens, NY. He was shot in the hand, arm, hip, both legs, chest, and left cheek.

After the shooting, 50 spent thirteen-days in the hospital and was operated on by Dr. Moses deGraft-Johnson. Some say the doctor saved his life.

Johnson, who is now a cardiovascular surgeon based in Tallahassee, has his own challenges he is facing.

Back in February of 2020, Johnson pleaded not guilty to health care fraud and conspiracy to commit health care fraud, but that recently changed, and plead guilty to 58 counts of healthcare fraud

His guilty plea admits he got paid at least $29 million for medical services he never performed on patients or for services demanded unnecessary.  He is facing up to 12 years when he is sentenced in April.

50 caught wind of the situation and took to Instagram to put his doctor on blast.
