Drake Explains How He is Excluded From Black Culture

In Drake's interview with Rap Radar, he addressed the line on "Diplomatic Immunity" when he spits "Black excellence, but I guess when it comes to me it's not the same though, all goodie." 

According to Drake, he sometimes feels excluded from black culture. [Jump to 44 minutes.]

"I felt the other side of judgment. Racial judgment sometimes, being light-skinned, being Canadian. Having people I look up to and respect tell me I can't identify with what's going on," Drake said, and then explained he does do things for the community he just moves in silence, rather on social media.

"Sometimes some of my blackest friends can be just as cruel on the other end by making you feel excluded," he continued. "Or making you feel like you can't get in on this ... I dont feel like people say, when Drake is the artist of the decade, 'wow a black artist is the artist of the decade'. And don't think anybody says this ... and I associate myself as a black man."
