Drake used a pretty inventive promotional idea to drop the release date of his Certified Lover Boy album.

On Friday, August 27, during an episode of ESPN's SportsCenter, it appeared as if Drake hacked into the show. Then someone holding a white piece of paper that read "CLB September 3" appeared on screen.

Drake has been talking about Certified Lover Boy for a while now and said he'd release it regardless of when his rival Kanye West would drop his Donda album.

"Album’s cooked. Certified Lover Boy on the way, and that’s for anyone in the way," said Drizzy in July while on the Fri Yiy Friday show.

Are you amped for Drake's new LP?
