Emma Coronel Aispuro,  the wife of El Chapo, was arrested for conspiracy to unlawfully import and distribute illegal drugs earlier this week.  She's also been accused of aiding El Chapo -- who will live the rest of his life in a supermax prison in the United States -- in his two successful attempts to break out of Mexican jails.

According to the New York Post, the 31-year old U.S.-born beauty queen is ready to rat out high-ranking officials in the Sinaloa Cartel.

“She’s definitely cooperating,” a federal law enforcement source told The Post, adding that the wife of Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman is a likely candidate for witness protection.

“Emma wants to get far away from the violence, and has always wanted to live in the US,” said the source. She was born in California and has dual US/Mexican citizenship.
