Originally, Eminem was going to star in the boxing flick Southpaw. But he passed, and the role went to Jake Gyllenhaal. Shady was still involved in the project, executive producing the soundtrack, which included his hit 'Phenomenal'.

In the video for Phenomenal, he makes up for lost acting time by playing someone who wakes up in hospital bed and then fights his way through many challenges.

Yup, that's noted thespian John Malkovich. (And, of course, Dr. Dre.)
