Fat Joe Says Chris Brown Would've Been Like Michael Jackson If Not For Rihanna Assault

Fat Joe is a huge fan of Chris Brown and has praised the R&B singer on many occasions.

He even compared him to Tupac Shakur after Chris and Quavo went at each other in April, which sparked a debate.

Now, Joe is causing another stir by saying that Breezy would've been as big as Michael Jackson if he hadn't assaulted his ex Rihanna in 2009.

"If Chris Brown never got into the controversy with Rihanna we would be calling him Michael Jackson right now," said Joe on Instagram Live. "He is the most talented singer, artist, performer, hit maker of our time. There’s nobody even close to Chris Brown, and it’s time we move past it."

While most disagreed with the Bronx rapper, others said he was right and brought up M.J.'s controversies.

"MJ had women literally fainting in his presence," one X user responded. "Waiting in line days in advance for him to make an appearance or to buy tickets before they were sold out. Chris Brown is a legend in the game for sure. MJ is just on a different level."

"Michael Jackson is like the second most popular human of All Time after Jesus," wrote a second person. "We have to accept that is levels to this. Drake n Chris Brown can be great in their own right. Stop comparing to this man."

"Love Mike but them lil boy accusations were there. Cant be hypocrites," wrote someone else.
