In 2021, Flo Rida sued Flo Rida said energy drink company Celsius Holdings Inc., claiming the company owes him thousands of dollars in unpaid royalties earned from an endorsement deal he had with them between 2014 and 2016.

He was seeking at least $30,000.

The jury just awarded him $82 million.

Celsius had argued that they had already paid Flo "far in excess of what he is entitled to" and that he had waited too long to file the suit.  They also filed a countersuit against him requesting he give them back the money he had paid them.

Flo's legal team argued that Celsius “failed to properly handle the royalty calculations, payments, and stock transfers and instead retained funds and assets to which Plaintiffs were entitled" and their deception was such that it took Flo years to realize he had been ripped off.

The jury bought Flo's argument and now he's one of the richest rappers in the world.
