After spending years squabbling with each other, G-Unit suddenly got it together last summer and dropped the EP The Beauty of Independence. On March 3, follow up EP The Beast Is G-Unit hits.
Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo and the newest member of the crew Kidd Kidd sat down with XXL to discuss the status of the group. Conspicuously missing was notoriously prickly group leader 50 Cent.
Perhaps that's why the interview was such a love fest, with the four heaping praise on each other. Buck closed things out by promising G-Unit was back together for good, while acknowledging their past problems.
It never was a beef. It was just a big misunderstanding. You can't expect a crew of man to be amongst each other without some type of moments when everybody's not on the same page. How you handle it determines everything. We learned a lot from what we did do, and how it was done, to the point where .. you will never see it played how it got played out.
