In October, Memphis rapper Mac Critter signed to Gucci Mane's 1017 label.
Yesterday, he turned himself in on first-degree murder charges.
Police say Critter (Daniel Bates) was among four armed men who approached a man on the 600 block of Wells Avenue in Memphis on December 21.
One of those men, Gary Taylor, shot the victim multiple times, continuing to fire when he was down. Then the four men fled in an SUV.
Taylor and Critter, known gang members, were hit with murder charges.
Critter joins Pooh Shiesty, Foogiano, Hoodrich Pablo Juan, Yung Mal, Ralo, and Hot Boy Wes as 1017 rappers who are either locked up or awaiting trial on serious charges.
