While just about everyone has commented on the Drake-Meek Mill feud, their labels have said surprisingly little.
Sure, Drake's Young Money boss Lil Wayne signaled his support by playing and rapping along to 'Back To Back' at a club gig. But MMG has been very quiet -- save Bawse Rick Ross actually supporting Drake in the feud's early hours.
Maybach Music Group soldier Gunplay was on The Breakfast Club this morning, and he explained why his label hasn't supported Meek on wax.
“We’re a different kind of breed. We’re a different kind of label. We’re not gonna rap that shit. We’re gonna come see you,” Gunplay told The Breakfast Club. “Y’all know me. I ain’t finna sit there and tongue wrestle with no motherfucker .”Then Gunplay added he wasn't going to involve himself in the beef at all as long as his name isn't mentioned.
Now somebody needs to ask Ross why he's been so quiet.
