MMG rapper Gunplay notoriously squared up with 50 Cent, G-Unit and their security outside of the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards.

According to Fat Joe, he was headed to squash the beef between Rick Ross and 50 Cent when the fight flared up.

Speaking with DJ Whoo Kid this week, Joe explained that he had squashed his own beef with 50 earlier that evening and was about to play peacekeeper between Fif and Ross when fists started flying. [Jump to 3:30]

"I immediately went and found Rick Ross, because he was at the award show," Joe explaiend. "I said 'Yo, I squashed the beef with 50 Cent.' he was like 'Yo, I'm gonna move how you move.' So I'm thinking, I'm about to squash the Rick Ross 50 Cent beef. I was there ... but I got to the back and they fighting Gunplay. And I was like 'This is not gonna happen. This is not very good. I cannot squash this beef ever again.' I thought I was gonna be the UN Summit. Some beefs you can't squash."
