Hit-Boy has had a hell of a run since emerging in the industry. However, for some reason, he took to Twitter last night to announce his retirement. Reading into it sounds like the rapper/producer is just stepping away from producing for others, while the main focus will still be on his HS87 label. Whether or not he'll still be producing for himself and his artists is unknown, but certainly expect to hear some new records from him and the team in the near future.
I retired from music industry production last night

However, Audio Push recently commented on Twitter that whatever Hit-Boy said last night was false. We'll have to see how this plays out.
