Quando Rondo may have been shot yesterday.

But he wasn't shot in his home state of Georgia, as was initially reported.

Instead, Quando was caught in a broad daylight shootout Friday afternoon in Los Angeles.

TMZ has a video of the aftermath of the shooting.  In it, we see an animated Rondo talking to cops.

It's unclear if Rondo was injured and his reps say he is "OK." But he screams out in pain as a badly injured man is taken from a Black Escalade that Quando and his crew had been riding in before the cops caught up with them.  The man later died.

Initial reports had Rondo's good friend Lul Pab killed in the shooting.

According to police, several gunmen drove to a gas station in Beverly Grove and opened fire, hitting a young man who was with Quando.

Quando and his crew then fled the scene in the Escalade.  They were pulled over by the cops about a mile away from the shooting.
