Years later, Kendrick Lamar's legendary "King of New York" "Control" verse is still in the news.
Yesterday, Twitter was buzzing with rumors that a drunk Diddy had confronted Kendrick Lamar over the geographical flex at the VMAs that year, attempting to pour a drink on K.Dot.
Kendrick's much bigger friend J. Cole is said to have intervened on Lamar's behalf.
Cole's manager Ibrahim "Ib" Hamad called cap on the rumor.

"Yea thats def not what happened," he said, suggesting something might have happened.
The incident between Diddy and Kendrick and Cole would have gone down around the same time period a drunk Puff publically bitch slapped Drake over a beat.
