In the late 90s, Jay Z, DMX and Ja Rule put out a couple of records as Murder Inc.
They spoke about doing an album, but that never happened in large part because of Hov and X's complicated and sometimes antagonistic relationship.
The dream of that Murder Inc. album died with the passing of DMX yesterday. Ja Rule said his goodbyes on IG
"Can’t believe 1 third of the murderers is gone," Ja typed. "Rest well my brother love you forever!!!
Rest well, X.
