Jermaine Dupri Offers Up His Mount Rushmore Of Producers

Jermaine Dupri is quite an accomplished producer.

But he knows there are producers who are even more accomplished than him.

During a chat with Vibe, he offered up his Mount Rushmore of Producers.

“Teddy Riley created an entire genre of music. Berry Gordy created music, period. Dr. Dre, without a doubt, created an entire wave and brought out a whole coast. Quincy Jones is undoubtedly the greatest producer of all time," he said. “That is the Mount Rushmore of producers. They cover the ground that none of us cover.”

He was also asked if he considered throwing himself on the mountainside.

“As long as them guys is even in my eyesight, I won’t ever put myself up there," he explained.
