Kanye Lists The Young Rappers He Most Respects

Kanye West has been on a radio station tour in his hometown of Chicago.

During his Power 92 stop, he was asked what young rappers he respected.

"Well, Quavo is my brother," Kanye started. "Travis, that's my brother. I love Drake, just like anyone from Chicago. I love Valee. I love ... damn, I'm trying to think. I love Pump. I love 6ix9ine. I love, love, love XXX."

The host challenged him on the Tekashi 6ix9ine, and Kanye doubled down.

"I love him. The energy ... Don't talk to me about controversy. It's all the same. Does this makes him the worst person or something? [Is he] worse than one of our cousins that's locked up? That's our family. We all family."
