Kanye West broke down the meaning of Ye, the title of his eighth studio album, during an interview with Big Boy.
"I believe Ye is the most commonly used word in the Bible and in the Bible it means, 'you,'" he explained. "So its I'm you, I'm us. It went from being Kanye, which means the only one to just Ye, just being a reflection of our good, our bad, our confused, everything. And I'm just more of a reflection of who we are [as] beings."
The album dropped on Friday. After sitting with it for the weekend, what're your thoughts on it?
You can hear Kanye break down the title below starting at the 2:06 mark.
