Love him or hate him, there is no doubt Drake gets a lot of hate.  (And love.)

Lil Wayne believes the biracial rapper's skin color has to do with why some folks just won't cut The Boy any slack.

"He light-skinned," said Weezy on The Richard Sherman Podcast. "That’s just American history. How I know is, because I’m not light-skinned. I hated on all light-skinned dudes in school. So yeah, it’s American history, man."

Kevin Gates, who's also on the light side, agrees that it's a factor and took it a step further.

"I'm not going to say rappers, I'm going to say white people.  White poeple, they have it rough.  They the first ones to get picked.  Some people they never did anything gangsta and they ugly so people stay away from them," Gates said when stopped by TMZ in Manhattan.
