There's was no Easter follow up album to Kendrick Lamar's DAMN., destroying a popular Internet theory that involved The Matrix and Jesus.
But that doesn't mean we won't be getting more Kendrick soon.
DJ Kid Capri acts of as a narrator of sorts on DAMN. You hear his voice and his signature scratching on multiple tracks.
In an interview with Mass Appeal, Kid Capri explained how he hooked up with Kendrick, and revealed that there should be still unreleased material from the sessions to come.
[TDE] reached out to me, and asked me if I could come meet up with Kendrick. So we sat down and we figured it out. I came to the studio and recorded a lot of stuff, they took what they wanted, placed it where they needed to place it. I think they’ve got some more stuff—there are some more things—coming out later, but for right now, that’s what happened. Are you still taking the red pill on more Kendrick soon?
