Kid Cudi said he had to get high one last time before he went to rehab a couple of years ago.

"The only way I'm going to go to rehab is if I get loaded," he said on Jada Pinkett Smith's online series Red Table Talk. "I found out that's the way a lot of people go to rehab, loaded."

Cudi then told Jada that he was loaded on cocaine, as well as liquor and explained why he was so unhappy back then.

"It's like doing a comedy but you're miserable,"he explained. "My life was like this show and I was always supposed to be on. When the show was over, I was completely miserable. For a long time, I was not happy when I woke up in the morning."

The 34-year-old, who also told Jada he was ashamed to talk about his mental health, said he's been clean for two years now.
