Chicago rapper King Louie was shot in the head while sitting inside his vehicle in the Ashburn neighborhood of Chicago at around 3:30pm.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. He's listed in stable condition, and his management told reporters that the 27 year old was awake and talking.
Louie is often credited with coining the term Chiraq.
