During a chat with Cam Capone, King Yella described a shootout between his crew and Lil Durk's crew around 2014.
"Durk had a show, and the whole city knew about it. This is why they don't let n*ggas have shows in Chicago, because n*ggas come shoot them up ... we end up sliding out there," King explained.
The confrontation between the two crews resulted in gunfire.
"There's bullets flying from rooftops, cars getting hit. It was some crazy sh*t going him. Ain't nobody get hit, though."
Yella believes the shootout was why Durk was banned from doing shows in Chicago for some years.
Yella is a known fabulist, so it's possible this never happened.
