Even though Lil Baby dropped his song "The Bigger Picture" last year, which touches on George Floyd's murder and racism in general, he doesn't like speaking on hot-button topics.
"I don’t really catch what’s going on or what people are saying,” Lil Baby told Ari Melber on MSNBC's The Beat. "I don’t really wanna just speak on situations, especially when I don’t know the whole backstory [since] something I say might get misinterpreted. So, I’m quiet as far as me posting ... I speak through my art."
Last year Lil Baby said he was done rapping about politics but it's not clear if he changed his mind since then.
Why do you believe so many people weigh in on controversial topics without knowing all of the necessary info?
