Lil Baby's protest song "The Bigger Picture" was very well-received when it came out in June. The song is about battling racism and supporting Black Lives Matter.
After the cut was released, the Atlanta rapper spoke a good deal about race, once opening up about his own experiences with racism in an interview with Rolling Stone. But now, Lil Baby said that he'll no longer talk about politics or racial matters because it's something he doesn't want to do.
“The more I’m seeing what’s up with all that sh*t, the more I’m like, ‘Let me back up off politics,’” he told GQ. “I don’t want to be no Malcolm X or Martin Luther [King Jr.]. I stuck my nose in it. I’m good on that.”
