Lil Durk, who was wanted for criminal intent to commit murder, turned himself in to police yesterday.
Now, the Chicago rapper is pleading to be released.
According to TMZ, Durk is requesting to post bond until trial and says he is not a flight risk since he turned himself in.
On top of that, Durk says he owns a home in the area, where he lives with his fiancee and their child, and he's a successful artist signed to a major label who gives back to his community.
Durk's next court hearing is scheduled for June 14.
