Lil Mister was murdered in his hometown of Chicago yesterday evening
The 24-year-old was shot in his head at about 7:15 p.m. on the 7400 block of South Harvard Avenue in Chicago's South Side Englewood neighborhood, police said.
He died after being taken to University of Chicago Medical Center. A homicide investigation is underway. There are no further details.
Lil Mister, who is the cousin of Lil Durk, was involved with Chicago's Drill scene. His biggest hit was 2012's "No Lackin'", which was off of his debut mixtape of the same name.
Durk is on tour and has yet to comment on his cousin's death. RIP.
